The booster club will be serving walking tacos from 5-7 at the Homecoming game Friday night.The cost is $6.
Iowa State Bank is doing a free popcorn night at the Homecoming game on Friday night.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
SATURDAY SPEECH COMPETITION RESULTS: Our speech team did well today at our first competition! Several groups will be moving on to the state competition including: "By the Sea" acting ensemble, "A Million Miles" musical theatre, KAWH radio broadcasting, "Looter in the Uber" short film, and both improv groups! Other groups that competed well but will not be moving on are "Say My Name" musical theatre, "Sandy Hill" short film, and our readers theatre. Be sure to congratulate our speech students on a great day!

Our theme this year is Ecclesiastes 3:11 - “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”

Two Giving Opportunities for Homecoming
1 - Non Perishable Food Drive
*We will be accepting nonperishable food donations for Mid-Sioux Opportunity all week. There will be a bin in the office.
2 - Pop and Pods for Atlas
**On Thursday, we are asking all students to bring in a case of soda OR a box of coffee pods for Atlas. Coordinate what to bring through your Living Groups. We will be designing creative sculptures of cans and pods in the gym as a fun activity that day, and then those cans/pods will be donated to Atlas of Orange City. When someone comes to Atlas for encouragement and support, a can of soda or a cup of coffee from the student body of Unity will be offered to each person.

Cleaning Opportunity in the New Gym! On January 30 through February 2, we have been asked to clean the beams, walls and floors of the new gym. This is to prepare for the installation of the wood floor the following week. We are hosting the following 4 cleaning nights from 6:30 - 8:00 pm:
