Parent Teacher Conferences Food Sign Up. Sign up HERE to provide food for P/T conferences on November 4 & 5.


Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on November 4 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and November 5 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, discuss their progress, and work together to ensure a successful school year. Your involvement is key to your child's growth and success, and we truly value the time you take to engage in these important conversations. Volunteer opportunity - The annual Winter Warm Up coat drive at Kinsey Elementary in Sioux Center is October 26 from 9am-noon. They are always in desperate need of volunteers for set up (Friday, Oct 25) and for the drive on Saturday morning (26th). This is a great cause (and looks good on a college application)!  They can use all volunteers, but translators on Saturday are in especially high demand! Sign up here! Coat Drive Volunteer sign-up

Unity Booster Club Winter Apparel Store is LIVE - Order your winter sports or general unity design items now - this will be the last order before the Christmas season. Please double check sizes before completing your order as the Knight Store will not carry inventory on most of these items. Game Club will be starting on Tuesday, October 29. This is open to all students and we will meet in the cafeteria from 3:30-4:45. We play strategy board games such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Camel Up, Carcassonne, chess, etc. Any questions, talk to Mrs. Kaemingk.


Speech season is coming soon!  Please join coaches Mrs. Vermeer and Kara Van Genderen for a brief informational meeting in the art room on October 23 after Living Groups. All students are welcome--there is a place for you in speech!  New this year are speech captains. Senior pictures! It’s time to submit your senior and child photos for the yearbook. Submit your photos via this Google form by December 2nd. The yearbook needs two pictures - 1) a senior picture and 2) a baby/child picture. Please choose vertical photos. These photos will be used in the yearbook and the slideshow at JSB. Please email lkuiper@unitychristian.net with any questions.


Ronald McDonald Houses in Classrooms: The Ronald McDonald House is a place for families to go when they have a child in the hospital long term so they can be near them. They provide such a big help to these families and we at Unity can help raise money for them by taking off pop tabs and placing them in the little house shaped boxes that are in each classroom.
