Thurs 10/24 V Boys XC State Qualifying Meet: Congrats to the Boys Cross Country team on advancing to the State Meet. They placed 2nd in the State Qualifying Meet, 1 point behind 1st place. Medalists include Elijah Schreurs in 5th place, Ethan Wynia in 6th place, and Tyler Rozenboom in 9th place.
Thurs 10/24 V Girls XC State Qualifying Meet: Girls finished first yesterday and qualified for the state! We had four girls in the top 15 - Addison Liston placed 1st, Katie Young 2nd, Kambrie Dekkers 6th, and Hailey Koelewyn 8th. Way to go ladies!
Thurs 10/24 V VB - 3A Regional Tournament game @ Cherokee: Lost 23-25, 20-25, 25-23, 12-25

Locker Rooms & Lost & Found Clean Up: All items left in locker rooms or on lost & found tables will be donated after the end of the day on Monday, October 28. This includes ALL locker rooms and both lost & found tables (one near academic hallways and the other in the laundry room).
Parent Teacher Conferences Food Sign Up. Sign up HERE to provide food for P/T conferences on November 4 & 5.
Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on Monday, November 4 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday, November 5 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with your child’s teachers, discuss their progress, and work together to ensure a successful school year. Your involvement is key to your child's growth and success, and we truly value the time you take to engage in these important conversations. Volunteer opportunity - The annual Winter Warm Up coat drive at Kinsey Elementary in Sioux Center is October 26 from 9am-noon. They are always in desperate need of volunteers for set up (Friday, Oct 25) and for the drive on Saturday morning (26th). This is a great cause (and looks good on a college application)! Unity Booster Club Winter Apparel Store is LIVE - Order your winter sports or general unity design items now - this will be the last order before the Christmas season. Game Club will be starting on Tuesday, October 29. This is open to all students and we will meet in the cafeteria from 3:30-4:45. We play strategy board games such as Settlers of Catan, Ticket to Ride, Camel Up, Carcassonne, chess, etc. Any questions, talk to Mrs. Kaemingk.
Senior pictures! It’s time to submit your senior and child photos for the yearbook. Submit your photos via this Google form by December 2nd. The yearbook needs two pictures - 1) a senior picture and 2) a baby/child picture. Please choose vertical photos. These photos will be used in the yearbook and the slideshow at JSB.
